Every project begins with an ambitious vision.
But as we move from idea to execution, a challenge emerges: perfectionism.
When I started building Trendy.so, I had big dreams. I wanted to change the way people consumed their daily news, bringing calm to a noisy world. That broad vision paralyzed me.
I kept asking myself, "Is it ready"? But the real question I should have asked was, "Is it good enough to start"?
In pursuit of perfection, I risked never launching at all.
So I did the hard thing – I shipped it. Not because it was flawless, but because it was time.
'Done' opens doors to real feedback, iteration, and growth. Perfect is a myth that keeps the world waiting.
Trendy.so isn't perfect, but it's alive, improving daily. That's how real progress happens.
Start before you're ready. Ship before you're comfortable. Improve as you go.
The war of art is won by those who ship.
